The firm’s fee structure can be negotiated with each client to suite their in­dividual needs.

We further strive to execute all instructions in a cost-effective manner thereby facilitating optimal results. By establishing relationships with key role players in the legal field and government support services, for example the Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Deeds, the Master’s Office and the local authori­ties, we endeavour to limit delays.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The firm does have in-house training capabilities. The firm at any given point in time employs eight candidate attorneys. Such candidate attor­neys need to be trained under supervision of his/her principal.

The effectiveness of the in-house training capabilities is measured by the High Court on application for admission by such candidate-attorney. The High Court needs to be satisfied that the training of such candidate-attorney was suitably effective.

The firm furthermore does continuing training for qualified attorneys. Case Law, Legislation and Legislative Amendments are discussed and debated on a continuous basis, in order for the attorneys to keep abreast with latest developments in the vast legal fields.

Qualified attorneys and candidate attorneys on a regular basis attend seminars, inter alia organised and presented by the Law Society of South Africa and the Law Society of the Northern Provinces, in order to keep up to date and abreast with specialised legal issues.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The firm occupies modern and well-furnished offices with conference and arbitration facilities, enabling the firm to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and effective environment.

Whilst this is the firm’s only office, we would describe our business as not just regional, but also national, as the firm renders professional services throughout South Africa. We have accrued a network of trustworthy corre­spondents, sharing the firm’s vision, enabling us to provide the finest and most time effective legal and litigation services, countrywide.

Our infrastructure is well equipped to handle large volumes of legal work, which includes a state of the art library. We stay abreast with legal and legislative developments and reforms, as well as the latest electronic and information technology on the market.

The firm has sufficient capacity to provide the infrastructure to facilitate un­interrupted internet based interface with clients’ Communications Systems, at own cost.

The firm also has the capability to provide document and messenger ser­vices. The firm utilises courier services on a regular basis and we are also contracted to Docex. In addition, the firm has a motor vehicle as well as three motorcycles, which are mainly utilised for the delivery of documents. The firm has two dedicated drivers and the candidate attorneys, particularly in matters of urgency, are also utilised to provide and serve documents.
