Admitted as an attorney in 1981 and admitted as conveyancer and notary in 1992. He started his career in the Magistrates’ Court where he served as senior public prosecutor and Magistrate before he joined the State Attorney’s Offices and was promoted to Senior Assistant State Attorney before he went into private practise. He joined FourieFismer Inc. in 2020 as a Practising Consultant. He is the convener for the national conveyancing examination, chairperson of the Gauteng Law Council and currently member of the property law committees of the Pretoria and Johannesburg Attorneys’ Association and Law Society of South Africa.
